Laptop turns on but wont boot up.
whenever i turn on the laptop it doesnt go to windows instead i get a black screen saying
'Disk or non-disk error replace and press any key to continue' Can anyone help?

I had this happen on a desk top when I got done working on it, I had forgotten to plug in the HD cable.
Plugged it in, and it worked. But you are on a lap top, so I dont know, maybe a bad HD? I just know that I got the same exact error when I forgot to plug my hd cable in.
