Well I have multiple problems. First off my internet explorer.....doesn't have the menu thing, like tools, help and files, ect........Second my computer like freezes on me from last night, even though I am not running a lot of programs. I believe MSN messenger is behind the problem because it would close and I would get the error sound without any messages. I can't press ctrl alt del because the error sound would come and well nothing appears. I can't right click anywhere.......I've ran pc-cillin and no viruses. All I did last night was install Neverwinter Nights (not a rom or anything) and ran ad-aware 6.0. I'm not sure what to do, when I restart it gets good but....then again later on it messes up. My specs are:

    Windows XP home
    1.6 GHz Intel Pentium 4
    60 GB HD
    256 MB ram...

Well I thank you in advance. Help would be greatly Appreciated.

hmm, could be a cache problem? if its cumulative that happens sometimes.

You could try downloading Cacheman which is "free" (its shareware really, but they dont care too much) Then just find out what the "Page file" use is, and make it bigger. Have you tried a second opinion for a virus checker? AVG or somthing like that. I use ezAntivirus and AVG, but AVG is disabled by default.
    Do you use Kazaa?
As for IE, right click on the icon on the desktop, properties, programs, reset web settings. dunno might help. sounds like a hijack attempt or somthing.
try going to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and downloading the latest IE update, that will probably reset GUI settings.

Like what is the catch, does your computer run slower or something? Like or does it just fix up your computer without like reducing the power of something else?

not sure what you mean, but it does work, i use it quite a lot, it has an auto ram recoverer in it too. You dont need to run it every start up, in fact you could just run it once, then never use it again! As you are using XP, then id select it as For background applications, under cache.

Before you do anything else, open IE and press F11 key. It's sounds like you might be running in full screen mode.
