Ad-aware Problem!!!

I try to updates ad-aware 6.0 with the referencefile 0R119 17.02.2003

It say no update available?????

Thought I better check - got caught with my foot in my mouth once today already --- orig. w/o update I have is OR 108, and dated 03.02.2003. You are right about the update, but d/l was not a problem although I had to restart AW to get it to show as using the new 119 file. Perhaps they had something down on their end at the time you tried?

 

I just checked and the latest file is 0R119 17.02.2003...

are you saying you are trying to get this update.. or do you already have it and thought there might be a newer one??

Everything okay now.

I just try the update and now i got 0R 120 18-02-2003.

When i try yesterday it say no update available ???

So everething fine now so thank you come again...

Hi i i have just downloaded Adware 6 , the latest def file is 0R122 22-02-03, it downloaded without any hassle

Lavasoft put out 3 updates in a week. I vaguely recall that two of them were on 2-18 and 2-21.
I was also surprised, since my experience has been that such rapid releases indicates poor quality control.

 

These aren't program updates, they are updates to the spyware scum bag database....


They can update that daily and I couldn't be happy enough!!

Yeah, well....
Lavasoft stopped issuing new updates last AUG, the story I heard in various and sundry places (perhaps including this one) is that Lavasoft was not issuing updates until the new major upgrade/release.
V6 came out a few weeks ago, and now there have been 3 ref file updates in a week.
Since that time, someone turned me onto Spybot, which I find to be a more complete product.

mine hasn`t worked with the auto updater since the second file I tried it with. Crap.

 

Ad-Aware Update

There are many updates recently, but it is much better than the old one that took months to update .

The new Ref. File is: #OR123 25.02.2003

Just keep it current by checking it now and then or set it up to do so automatically
