.JPGs not saving to hard drive

I was saving some .jpgs to My Pictures folder last night, and whenever I would look at the Save As... menu again, those pictures didn't show up at all. I clicked My Pictures and looked in that specific folder, and instead of the image, I only see that standard image with a white sheet of paper and some type of grid on it.

What happened? Why aren't these .jpgs showing up?

 

Clear your temperary internet files and try again.

 

i had the same clearing the files did the job for me.
