msn messenger

alright well yesterday i was on msn messenger (newest version) and all of a suden it logs out and since then i been trying to log in but it keeps saying there a problem and gives me error codes.. i already tryed searching for solutions for the error codes but none of them worked

i even tryed switching to 7.5 version and still nothing

i am using vista and really want to know how to fix this problem. Im going into the conclusion that windows vista is a peace of shit , i dont see anything good about it , cancel and allow stuff really anoying , its makes your comp slower (even with a brand new comp) and its really bad with running games.

Thank god i kept my older computer that has windows XP

 

Could you please post a screenshot of the error message you're getting?

Don't blame your OS for this one, yet. Sounds like messenger is running, but not connecting, which would indicate a problem with your (inter)network, or the application itself.

Give Vista some time, and it will be a top-class OS. Approve/Deny is annoying, but from a security standpoint, it's brilliant. No more administrative accounts!

wow my comp hates anything related to windows messenger now.

-cant log in to msn messenger error 81000306
- cant go on www.hotmail.com
- cant go on http://webmessenger.msn.com/ (msn messenger with browser)
- only way i can go on above 2 sites is using a web proxy.. but "cannot find page" when i actually try to sign in

i got norton protection , the windows firewall is disabled.
