I'm new to X2, dual core, software needed.

OK, I'm a n00b on this, my main reason for going this way is transcoding videos, I use Nero 7 for this task but I don't see an option to use the other core, would a reinstall be needed? Also, i need a monitoring SW, tried CPUMon but it pops up in all the wrong places, mainly top left and I can't seem to change that. Thanks to all who read this.

Not as powerful as CPUMon, but good for controlling both CPU's.
I set mine to Automatic, to startup at bootup and forget about it. :major

Thanks Bazza, I'll try that. Much appreciated though I'm sure there's something in CPUMon that will change its behaviour but I haven't found it yet. I'm sure Mr. Utilities will have to help me again as I have several more questions, but not tonight. Thanks again.

Well, it's not ready for primetime IMO as settings get lost after a reboot, doesn't show my processor usage (always show %0 for both even when it itself shows %100 on it's graph), when I minimize it it's the same as clicking exit so I have to restart it and the info it gives might be good for a hardware or software engineer but way over my head, I wouldn't even know what question to ask. I'll leave this alone.
