Windows Mail on Vista Problem !

I have been trying to set my sisters Windows Mail (on Vista)to accept and sign onto her AOL E-mail account to get her web mail.

I can recieve mail BUT cannot send mail from windows mail through her AOL account.

The mail servers are set to IMAP and SMTP on the recommended ports.

Can anyone please help me with this,?
My sister is going nuts !!!

Check the steps below and make sure you didn't overlook something.

Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Windows Mail.
Click Add....
Make sure E-mail Account is highlighted.
Click Next.
Enter your name under Display Name:.
Click Next.
Type your AOL email address under E-mail address:.
Click Next.
Make sure IMAP is selected under Incoming e-mail server type:.
Enter "imap.aol.com" under Incoming mail (POP or IMAP) server:.
Enter "smtp.aol.com" under Outgoing e-mail (SMTP) server name:.
Make sure Outgoing server requires authentication is checked.
Click Next.
Enter your AOL screen name under E-mail username:.
Type your AOL password under Password:.
Click Next.
Click Finish.
Highlight the "imap.aol.com" account.
Click Properties.
Go to the IMAP tab.
Make sure Store special folders on IMAP server is not checked.
Click OK.
Click Close.

YES al steps followed precicely.

Cant see anything else iv'e missed..

Is it just AOL is S**TE ? lol

(no ofence to AOL users) I use Orange...

Try this.

When you are returned to the Internet Accounts dialog box, click the Mail tab. (If the Internet Accounts dialog box is not open, click the Tools menu and then click Accounts).
Select your AOL IMAP account.
Click Properties.
In the Properties dialog box, click the Servers tab.
In the Outgoing Mail Server section, click the My server requires authentication check box.
Click Apply.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP): field, change the number that displays to 587.
Click Apply.
Click the IMAP tab.
In the Special Folders section, click the Store special folders on IMAP server check box to deselect it.
Click Apply.
Click OK.
Click Close.

Having problem with windows mail in Vista Names keep appearing on my contact list and I have no idea where they came from. Don't recognize them in any way. Can someone help?
