CCleaner not deleting everything?

I just got CCleaner, and I tried it. I have it set to delete everything under the mozilla cookies, but when I went to a site with a log-in, the cookie still worked! And then, I ran it again, updated, and then checked my cookies, and sure enough, my log in cookie was still there. Can anyone tell me why this happened?

I'm by no means a CCleaner expert, but I believe you have to use the Applications feature to clean files/temps/cookies created by any program(s) other than Windows/IE. Sometimes CCleaner doesn't clean some of my IE cookies. I posted about this several months ago, and was told that there's a cookie setting in CCleaner where you have to enable "clean all cookies" or something similar. I never really looked into it 'cuz it wasn't a big deal. Maybe look at ATF Cleaner; it has it's own 'section' for FireFox. Just click the FireFox button at the top of the ATF window; and ATF doesn't require installation, it's a stand-alone. I use it daily and couldn't live without it! Go to Options>Advanced>Uncheck, Only delete files in windows temp folders older than 48 hrs

 

Adding $.02 - you can't be running Firefox when running CCleaner.
