HELP! my drivers have gone crazy and my wireless is down!

my internet is down and i can't get back on it, the little computer that used to be there on my desktop i am currently on my friends laptop, anyways the little computer that used to be there that allowed me to look for wireless connections etc is not there anymore and i don't know where to go to get the right driver for it because none of the linksys drivers seem to work they either dont respond or don't install at all, i really miss having internet on my computer since i am an avid gamer, an help would be greatly apperciatedcry
