Sony Vaio Laptop Keyboard Removal Instruction

    I am looking for hints how to remove/replace the keyboard for Sony Vaio laptop, model VGN-FS840/W (or PCG-7G2L). If you have any experience with the procedure, please help. I contacted Sony but they would not help.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, went to the sony site & could find how to change hard drive, add memory, but not keyboard. You may want to try a wireless keyboard/mouse?

    Unless you want to try pulling apart your laptop.

    Thanks, ralph3124. I'm inclined to replace the keyboard. The wireless solution only works for me at home.
