   hello, i have a EBR 2310 wired router. Is there anyway to tweak it to maximize performance? (the default splits the connection evenly- even to empty ports)

   Nah, there is No tweaks
   
   The only variable that might affect performance is the MTU and usually it is Auto set according to the type of connection.
