Just went off when I was trying to fix my internet connection problem the other day and it never came back.

When I try to play a sound file it says no audio device installed even though the audio device says its installed and working properly:banghead

    This is driving me nuts

Im not sure what info to post but would appreciate the help

Try to reinstall the audio driver for it. If that does not work boot into the BIOS and reset the BIOS to default values. And then save it. It should say on the bottom what to press to reset it to default settings.

Hum maybe it shorted out. Maybe its your speakers that shorted out. Try it plug it into reg pc speakers and see what happens.

So you're saying that under Device Manager it says that every thing's ok?

    Thats correct

It says no playback device everywhere, but under all of the devices it says installed and working properly.
