Default Chipset/Graphical Problem

Hi, awhile back I ran into a thread about my computer possibly having a problem with the chipset and I never had problems till recently. When ever I play a game such as counter strike, my fps goes way down and is only good in small maps. I find this odd that my computer would work for almost a year fine and then suddenly not.

I tried to get help with an online tech support for the game and they believe it was something about irq ports :S I dont know anything about that.

I have been through "READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide " with no problems.

My computer is - Toshiba m45-s2692
Intel Pentium M processor 1.73GHz
1.5GB RAM
Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS
910GML Express Chipset Family
Microsoft Windows XP SP2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Did your graphics settings change? Check them out because they may have changed.

It could be that your using an onboard video card (which uses shared system memory) Maybe the cause.

You would need to to contact the dealer where you bought the computer to see whether or not the graphics can be upgraded. Your Toshiba comes standard with integrated graphics and is very limited so far as gaming goes.
