This may be a software issue though it may be both so I posted this in both places (if this is in the wrong place just delete it I'm sorry)

Recently my band recorded our own album at a studio and decided to save money by doing all the burning ourselves. Of course at the time we didn't think there would be any problem with it so we go and we start burning cd's only to find out that when you stick the tracks on the cd they don't keep their track names i.e. they revert to "track 1" "track 2" etc etc even if I re-name them before sticking them on the disk. So I went hunting and found that certain cd players have something called "cd text" which nero supports so I bought nero and tried it. Yet still in windows media player / itunes nothing. So my question is how do I get the names of the songs to come up on the computer, does it have something to do with the disk or is it because some cd database on the internet doesn't have our song names. I'd like to know if any of you know the answers and if you don't I'd appreciate you directing me where to go.

My opinion shows that if you create audio cd tracks have no names, but if you create mp3 cd then tracks have names. But i'm not the expert with nero, therefore sorry for my helpless post.
