BAD /safeboot:minimal ?????? INFECTED???????

    Hey gang ... looking for some help and/or input on what's going on with this freaking machine.

    I have done the step by step instructions that were outlined in the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and I have attached the files it requests.

    Just a couple of things to note:
    -When I tried to run msconfig I got <FILE NOT FOUND> response
    -I was unable to boot into safe mood... <file missing or corrupt hal.dll> message diplayed and then the PC rebooted an normal mode
    -Following the above instructions I ran Counterspy once just before step 5 and again after I ran spybot (both files attached)

    OS info:
    XP Media Center Edition
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 2

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    We need the logs from GetRunKey and ShowNew. Please explain what is happening when you try to attach the logs. Watch for error messages in the Manage Attachments window. These error messages are not very obvious.

    Also we need to know what malware problems you are having. Not being able to boot in sage mode due to a missing hal.dll file is not a malware issue. And based on the logs attached thus far I do not see any malware issues other than the below adware which you should either uninstall or at lease delete the folder.
