Does this sound familiar? Each time I start my machine (yes, my own personal laptop!) the lan connection shows that it has sent 64,000 packets before Windows completes loading. I've tried several firewall solutions, none stop it, though I think they did prevent something from doing the same over the WiFi connection.

None of my scanners show the slightest signs of any infections, safe mode or otherwise.

    Ideas?

I would try the Networking Forum if your system is clean.

If you want to be absolutely sure you're clean then you can follow our READ & RUN ME but it's up to you.
