Log On Error

Hi,
Each time I start my computer after "Windows is starting up" I get the Log on Window: with user name: "Administrator" in grey, and a logon message comes up "Unable to log on because of an account restriction" how can I stop this from occuring. I am sole user owner and occopier here and do not use any passwords TY.
Specs: WinXP2 HE, Amd Sempern2600+, RAM 768MB, AVG Virus Scanner, WinXP Firewall, All Wins Updates, IE 6.0.

Further suggestion for you...

1. Log on in safe mode
2. Go to Start > Run - then type in "control userpasswords2"
3. Check "users must enter..." this will allow access to accounts.
4. Make sure you know the passwords then restart in normal mode and log in.
5. Go to Start > Run - then type in "control userpasswords2"
6. Highlight your account (not the default administrator account)
7. Uncheck "users must enter..." a password screen will pop-up.
8. Type in password and confirm password. Click Apply
9. Close and reboot.

Lev, I think I may not have made my problem clear enough. I have this compt. 2yrs. Have never needed to use passwords as I am sole owner, and sole occupier of house. this error has only came up in the last 3wks. Hope this is more clear.Have never used password for log on. So I cannot use your last suggestion unfortunately. Thank you for replying.
