Music making software

    I am looking for a program to make music(all kinds). I have messed around with FruityLoops but find it can be a pain to learn and its not the greatest.
    Any recommendations?

    Depends what you want, are you wanting to pay for software? Are you looking to just use loops to piece a song together?

    Magix Music Maker works well - it's what I used before I got garageband.
