Need some help please. Presario SR5152NX

My gf just purchased this pc. it is an amd athnlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ 2.1GHZ rated at 6ghz. it has 2048 gigs of ram, 250 gb hdd, and a onboard nvidia geforce 6150 se.


and last but not least....shitty vista. Now I want to put on xp pro, but i cannot seem to find drivers for it. I looked on the site(hp compaq site, and there are only vista, and vista x64 drivers there. it says that if the drivers you are looking for cannot be found..then they do not exist in the language selected....or something like that....


any help would be grrreat!!! thanks for your time.

 

Have you tried Nvidia.com?

under download drivers > graphic drivers > geforce 6 series > windows xp / 2000

 

Dont bother, more than likley you wont find drivers that will work, the hardware is designed for vista, and its not rated at 6 Ghz. ed
