halo 3 hd modes

    When i play halo 3 on my xbox 360 in any hd mode (720p 1080i) it cuts off the sides of the screen in game (only in game, the main xbox menus work full screen). I have checked my tv and it isnt linked to the tv setting, can anyone shed some light on this please or a solution...

    Is there a setting in Halo 3 for running it like this? I had it working for a day before my 360 developed a hardware failure, so can't see for myself!

    Is this the only game that does this?
