To adjust ones system to allow your load page or first page if you will to be your gmail account & not your ISP's hijack to their account page? I already typed my gmail account page in the "Address:" box of Internet Options under the General tab, so I can go there once I click "Home". But I want my first page to load my gmail account after I sign on with Netzero (dialup). I don't want to change my web browser either, I want to remail with Internet Explorer 6. Please don't tell me it's not possible, it must be a registry change. I had it set up this way for a long time but unfortunately I had to reinstall my ISP with their install CD cause I wasn't able to disconnect the way I used to by clicking on their little Netzero icon on my toolbar. So I forgot how to do this. I know this is not malware but it might as well be cause the ISP changes the registry to allow them to load first. Thanks
Window XP Home Edition SP2 version 2002 I E 6 dialup ISP Netzero

As yoiu stated this is not a malware issue. Just change your home page to what you want it to be in your browser. The below will give you an example of changing it to majorgeeks while also emptying your cache

    Reset Web Settings:
    1. If you have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, goto step 2. If not, skip to step 3.
    2. Now right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK. Then skip step 3.
    3. If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, click Start, Control Panel (for some systems it may be Start, Settings, Control Panel), Internet Options, Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK.
Note for IE 7 users: You need to select Internet Options then the Advanced tab and then Reset Internet Explorer Settings!
