Hello guys, right now I think I am experiencing problems with my Yahoo Messenger.

Here is the image.

Anyone can help me? Is this a sign of malware or somethings?

Be sure you have the latest version.

Yahoo! Messenger 8.1.0.421

If you have the current version, I would uninstall with Your Uninstaller! 2006 5.0.0.360, reboot and then reinstall the current version from above.

I just can't believe this! After a minute ago after successful installation of my YM, it went back again to close itself.

I just notice this, before it will close, I hear a popping sound and the problems starts after the pop. Because I enable my speaker's volume I hear the sound.

Do you have CCleaner installed? Try cleaning out your temp files and check for issues, leave at Default Settings.

Not a solution to your problem, but a workaround, in the meantime.

Try Trillian 3.1.7.0.

Says "Windows All" but I don't know of anyone using it on Vista.

Thank You very much guys!

I'll try each of your suggestions, and btw I'm using Windows XP SP2 not Vista.

First I'll try Goron's idea then bigbazza's.

And I do have a CCleaner for a long time. I use this usually everyday.

Oaghh!.. I just can"t understand what is happening to my YM.

I uninstall it, reboot and run CCleaner, then install again.

But after a minute or long the sound " Pop" just came by and my YM will close itself again. I really wonder what is the BIG PROBLEM?

I tried the Trillian and it works great. But I much prefer YM over this.

SO guys any idea what causing my YM to malfunction?

Also in the event viewer, I saw many YahooMessenger Error.
