Is nothing ever simple? Just attempted to download Firefox from your link and I got the exact same error codes. What now? Don't know if you noticed, in another thread I had difficulty with Opera...now firefox. Help.

Try shutting down your firewall, while installing FF. If you feel unsafe without it, start up Windows Firewall, do the install and if it installs properly, go back to your other firewall.

I disconnect from the internet and shut off both my firewall and my active monitoring antivirus programs when I'm installing.
