My computer is working slow!! HELP!!

I've posted threads here many times, and I've been happy with the results. Now, I'm back with another problem. It's not a virus problem or stuff like that but, my computer is working slow. I have a Windows XP (specs : 512MB RAM, 3.00GHz processor, 200GB HD + 30GB HD, NVidia graphis card.) I know, the RAM may seem pretty low but, when I first got it, it was the fastest Windows XP computer I had. Please help me solve this problem. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

I'm guessing it didn't come with two hard drives. Think also of all the programs you added to fill those hard drives. While 512MB worked when it was new, you should consider getting more RAM to help the computer speed up.

No, it didn't come with two hard rives. I added the 30GB one. The programs isn't really the problem cause, there's hardly anything on it so, I'll probably end up getting more RAM to speed it up a bit. Thanks!!
