Hello. I have a new computer (Dell Inspiron 531 w/ Vista) and I can't sucessfully burn an audio CD that I can play in other CD players.

I know the problem can't be software because I have tried 7 different CD burning programs.

I know it's not the type of CDs I am using because they are the same that I sucessfully use on my other computer.

So, I am thinking it must be some default setting in my drive that I need to change.

    Any suggestions?

I'm sure this is so simple I will be embarassed.

Here is what Belarc Adviser reports as to what drives i have.....

    "MN3126X KNG040F SCSI CdRom Device [CD-ROM drive]
PBDS DVD+-RW DH-16W1S SCSI CdRom Device [CD-ROM drive]

Canon iP6210DStorage USB Device [Hard drive] -- drive 1
    ST332062 0AS SCSI Disk Device (320.07 GB) -- drive 0
TEAC USB HS-CF Card USB Device [Hard drive] -- drive 2
TEAC USB HS-MS Card USB Device [Hard drive] -- drive 4
TEAC USB HS-SD Card USB Device [Hard drive] -- drive 5
TEAC USB HS-xD/SM USB Device [Hard drive] -- drive 3"

When I open 'My Computer' it reads DVD RW Drive E

I have sucessfully burned DVDr and DVD RW disks, what do I need to do to burn CDs?

Thanks in advance for any help!
