Mapping an IP

    i didn't really know where to post this software, or networking, but to the point

    I'm seeking help on how to map an IP. I dispise my router, and would like to know how to map an IP, so i can play games online, all other online functions work, i have an SMC Barricade router, help would be appreciated

    You should be able to access the configuration of your router through the http interface (Replace 192.168.1.1 with the ip address of your router also known as default gateway):

    http://192.168.1.1/

    The thing you usually has to configure is the NAT (Network Address Translation), but really depend on the game how it should be configured.
