Thanks for that link, M_M. When I was there from '92-'94 I was surprised by how many employees in the Supply department of Sierra Rutile Limited (SRL) actually had computers on their desks. I had my brand new EPSON PC AX laptop :D (luggable is more apt) with me. (Yep, EPSON used to make "laptops" way back then). Within a few days I had produced and printed out (in those days) an Alphabetical catalogue (their first) of their Parts list.

Only half of the country's computer-literate community -- about 17 per cent of a population of 5 million -- has significant reliance on or daily contact with computers (excluding mobile phones), according to market observers.

I would guess only 5-10% of the overall population would have access to computers. Mobile phones are big in SL and Africa, as land based telephone lines are mostly non-existent.
Thanks again, M_M. Gives me food for thought. Bazza
