toshiba satellite a55b with xp pro and sigma tel audio

new mobo , my restore disk wont work anymore changed o system with xp pro install sigmatel drivers , all is fine until sp2 i installed disable sound in safe mode no sound but works fine.

Without a more detailed model number, finding the correct drivers is next to impossible. Toshiba Satellite model numbers typically look like A55-S1063. I've looked for anything with A55B or a55b and found nothing....

:o I missed the part about "new mobo".... you need to run a system info tool like Unknown Devices or Everest, then post the results here or attach the reports these programs generate. More info about finding drivers (and links to the programs mentioned) can be found here:

As I suggested earlier, use a system info tool like Everest or Unknown Devices and post the reports here as attachments (do not post in-line reports as they tend to be removed by moderators).
