   ok so. i just got comcast internet and it comes with McAfee anti-virus. which is good becuz some where along the road i got a few viruses! ohg! but i downloaded the software BUT I have an older verion of windows xp and i guess the software i downloaded does not work with my op.sys. i.e an old verion of windows Xp.
   
   can anyone help me?

   All versions of McAfee are compatible with Windows XP. What do you mean you have an OLDER version of XP?
   
   Did Comcast give you a CD? Is it paid for or is it just a trial?
   
   Also, were you able to get rid of the virus' you said you had gotten?
