Trouble uninstalling/installing SUPERAntiSpyware

    Currently I'm trying to follow the Windows XP Cleaning Procedure instructions. I've downloaded everything under step 1. I'm on to step 2 and stuck on installing SUPERAntiSpyware. I've had it installed almost a year ago and I though I did uninstall the program a long time ago.

    However it still shows up under Add or Remove Programs and when I try to install the program again, it asks me if I want to uninstall the older version first. So I click yes and a Windows Installer window pops up saying, "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'WISCDDCBBF1270346BC938BBCC81A1EEAAA_3_9.MSI' in the box below."

    Does anyone know how I can fix this?
    By the way, I hope this is the right thread for this post. I apologize if it's not.

    Hi

    Likely a corrupted Windows Installer for SAS, so try this and install the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool and look down the list for SuperAntiSpyware and remove it, then try installing again.

    Hi Nick, cheers for that, didnt know you had an uninstaller tool available, so will if needed be using that in route in future.
