Corel Draw Graphics Suite

    Hi downloaded Corel draw Graphics Suite several times from btjunkie and other sites. When i'm installing, during extraction, avast runs amok and warns me of a trojan, later if i move the trojan to the vault or delete it, the extraction stops saying no space or corrupted file. I have enough space. How can every corel file i download be corrupted.. right now I'm downloading Coral Draw Graphic Suite X3 from majorgeeks.com, so i would like to know how i must install. The procedural jazz and also if i can use the corel draw X4 which I have already downloaded from btjunkie. Is there any other software which is just as good?

    Hi

    Best bet is to buy the retail Corel Draw Graphic Suite X4, over ones from BT which at Majorgeeks we will not support in assisting users in getting these working, but if your AV is flagging malware I'd delete any downloads you have asap.

    As to installing the one Majorgeeks has for download ( which is older x3 version ), then just run the downloaded .exe as it has been tested for being free from malware, unlike whats listed on btjunkie etc. ( bare in mind its just a demo though )


    If your needing graphics app with vector graphics capability then try this free one http://www.inkscape.org/ or Serif Draw Free ( serif have a free freebie graphic and photo apps at that link )

    Okie, Is inkscape a good option? I downloaded that.. I'm a freelance writer and I need to edit images and create images from my camera as well. I used to use irfan view but i cant merge pictures nor does it improve blurs. So I stopped using it. How long will the corel draw shareware from majorgeeks last? i mean for how long can i use.. I installed that as well. It takes up a lot of space.. It asked for my email address etc.. Is it ok?
