Can't remove program

Some time back I bought a USB drive with Memeo backup software packaged. All went fine for a long time until yesterday. Something must have become corrupted and it wouldn't run over night. So I went to the site an d/l'ed and install the pro version.

Now I can't get rid of it no how. It will not remove from Control Panel. I've deleted all the files in the Program directory except two that won't allow since they are open. I've even tried to go to DOS on bootup to remove the files and directory but that didn't work either. It re-installs the package on bootup!

In all my years with computers I've never seen anything like this.

What do I do now???
