i was trying to clean up my hard drive and accidentally deleted the file that controls my audio =/ i have an EVEREX LM7WZ Stepnote.. the driver was called RealTek. i have tried downloading MULTIPLE drivers but have not been successful. i have tried to recover the deleted file, downloaded driver update programs, even tried restoring files from my hard drive. nothing has worked. i am a music fanatic and i'm dying without sound! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!

You may have already tried this, but try installing the chipset driver first, reboot, install the UAA Microsoft KB888111 file second, reboot, and install the audio driver last and reboot again. Hopefully this will repair your audio:

    Chipset: http://www.everex.com/support/lm7wz/lm7wz-downloads/chipset.exe
    Audio: http://www.everex.com/support/lm7wz/lm7wz-downloads/audio.exe
KB888111 Microsoft UAA: http://hf.xable.net (scroll down until you see KB888111 and click the green 'Download' in the right hand column)

I hope this helps! Good luck!
