Do you know what power supply will have all the right pins/ connectors and power for this lot?

    mobo - GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L (4 PCIe slots)
    cpu - q6600,
gpu - GIGABYTE GeForce 8800 GT,
    16x DVD burner,
    2x sata drive,
1x ata drive (will up to sata),

possibly another DVD burner in the future too.

I have an OCZ very simular to this one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341002

Tons of SATA power connections! :cool I have 2 SATA drives, a SATA DVD, Radion 3870 X2, and a Q6600 overclocked and running flat out all day on an OCZ 600 Watt, don't recall the exact model number.

I am sure you will get several responces and different brands/suggestions. Just remember the PSU powers everything, and can potentially kill stuff in your computer, so don't look for a bargain one.

This one should give you plenty of power to add stuff to your box later.

whoa, that OCZ is a monster for $90!! looks like it has 4 PCIe connectors too and plently for SATA too.

Are all power supplies the same size? Do you think this one will fit in my old P4's case?

Thanks both of you for the links. New Egg is getting all my cash today!

Should fit unless you have a wierd case. It is an ATX power supply, will fit in an ATX type case.

    1 x 20+4-pin ATX
    1 x 4-pin/8-pin CPU
    2 x PCI-Express
    6 x 4-pin peripheral
    2 x 4-pin floppy
    6 x SATA

2 PCI, lots o' SATA ones!

Both power supply links above are great units and should be more than enough for your current rig plus a few future upgrades...

(BTW- the price on that PCP&C 610w is really, REALLY low! I can't believe how cheap it is! When I was looking for a new PSU a few months ago, that same PSU was about $160... now it's under $90 after the rebate!!!!)

I got mine when it was 109 but the stability makes it worth while.I monitored rails when at idle and when at load and got 12.04 idle 12.01 load.Worth every penny :)
