Default DNS Cache Poisoning?Internet flaw left web traffic open to hackers

Has anyone heard about DNS Cache Poisoning article ?

or is this a bit of hoo haa? as it does sound serious.

DNS cache poisoning is not anything new. However Dan Kaminsky ( http://news.cnet.com/8301-10789_3-9985815-57.html ) may have found some new security holes. It is not an issue you can do anything about except asking your ISP if the have put safe guards into place to protect their subscribers from this.

You're welcome. You will note that now Microsoft has just release KB951748 which is related. And a side effect of this patch is people who have ZoneAlarm are experiencing loss of internet connectivity.
