Olympus DS-2 Recorder PROBLEM! HELP!!

    I have a DS-2 that recorded some interviews. I listened to them on the recorder, no problem. I downloaded them to computer (XP OS) and now it sounds like aliens rather than normal or at least chipmunks. Can I upload the recordings back into the DS-2 and try downloading them again? Do you think that would get them to be audible again? Thanks!!
