Sound trouble....

    my internet will not play sound....limewire and windows media player will play sound but hardly anything on the internet will play sound....you tube, myspace, random sites....no sound.

    What web browser? It might be missing some codex or add-ons for playing the audio.

    YouTube (and many other internet audios) use a WAV format.
    Check and make sure your WAV isn't muted.
