Playstation 3 - IP Masking

Since I live in Canada, I am not privy to a few of the features over the Playstation3 Network, available to my friends south of the 49th parellel, most notably the new Video Download Service.

I am certain there is a way of making it look like I am logging in from USA, so that I may PAY to download movie rentals from this totally legal service (but our fascist lawmakers protect a duopoly of service providers that must control all Telcom/media in Canada, and so licensing is a disaster for Sony or Apple or Microsoft - sorry about the political rant).

My PS3 is routed via a wireless WEP, onto my cable DSL connection.

I understand simply that there is something about Proxy. A point in the right direction via link (or specific step by step instructions) would be appreciated.
