I have looked at the other threads, but I couldn't find anything that helped. Everytime I turn on the computer, my internet works for about 2-3 minutes then it just completely stops, and that error message comes up. Also, I tried using Wireless, LAN, even an Aircard, and all of them stop working in 2-3 minutes. I've had this laptop for 2 years and I was thinking of selling it, so I just reloaded Windows and DLed all the drivers. The internet was fine while I was downloading all the drivers, but then I DLed "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributle Package x84" and around 5 minutes later the internet stopped working.

    Help would be appreciated.

What's your security software? What's your hardware setup? A router/hub/VPN/firewall?

    Start, run, cmd, run these:

    ping www.google.com
    tracert www.google.com

    Post the results.

Also, i'm using an aircard, the model is a ZTE MY39 PC Connect Card. I'm on the Telus Network.

I'm using AVG (was until internet stopped working), firewall is on, and I have been using the aircard for 2 years now and I tried it on my friends laptop and it works.

If your aircard comes with its startup utility that stays in the bottom toolbar, uninstall it. Windows has a built-in one that works 10 out of 10 times.

Uninstall aircard from device manager, restart pc, resintall ONLY the driver. Usually, the driver is hidden in a subfolder under the root folder of the driver with setup.exe or the like. i.e.:

    CD:\AIRCARD\DRIVERS\XP

    That's an example.
