And damn I must be the worst kinda geek over here , lets just say my area of expertise isn't pc - related topics .

so here I go .

I recently moved to my girlfriends house , where I installed my old pc .
Her son uses the same cable to run his playstation 3

since I installed this pc , his ps3 doenst seem to connect anymore

Can this be re-installed ?

 

Are you plugging into the DSL / Cable modem directly?
Are both devices set to obtain IP addresses automatically via DHCP?

 

ok so this really beats it all

I solved the problem myself ,
seemed all I had to do was to re-configure my ps3

found that out after two minutes on the ps3


this just comes to show that , I really suck at pc's , and thank god that you guy's dont

anyway , this topic can be closed
