    Hey all.

Im building a cheap machine for gaming, surfing and watching DVD's. I have about a £500 budget for the base unit, already have a G5 mouse and a 21" Diamond Mitsubishi Pro SB CRT.

My question is, I have about £100 to spend on a graphics card, and I'm totally out of touch with todays technology. I see that for this price, there are a few contenders...

    Geforce 9600GT
    Geforce 8800GT
    Radeon 3870XT
    2 x Geforce 7950GT SLI

Does anyone have an opinion on this? I'm not one of those people who HAS to play on superhigh settings to be happy, as long as it looks ok and is SMOOOTH. I have checked benchmarks for these cards and they all vary from site to site, except I don't know about the 2 x 7950GT's. Like the idea of having SLi cards, and there are some on ebuyer UK for £50 each. :confused
