Power troubleshooting

    I have an intermittent problem. The computer will not power on. Sometimes it will come up a few hours later, sometimes it takes 24 hours. I'm guessing the power supply is bad. Should I check for anything else before changing it out. The machine is Emachine T5412 with a Bestec Atx-300-12e power supply. Thanks

    Welcome to MajorGeeks! It does sound like you have a bad PSU. Do you have an extra one or can you borrow one to try in your box?
