Hello everyone. I have a question about booting my computer from an external drive. Is it possible? I have an external drive E: that has Win XP Pro operating system on it. It is a full backup from another computer. How would I go about having the computer boot from the E: drive rather than the C: drive? The present C: drive also is booting from Win XP Pro. I would appreciate any input. I hope I gave you enough information.

    Thanks

You need to look in the BIOS to see if it allows booting from a USB device.
