    Hi

I've recently purchased a cheap webcam to use with Skype. The problem is that a message comes up saying that I've exceeded the USB bandwith, so the webcam won't work. The webcam appears to want to use 80% of the bandwidth and I'm given the option to close down other applications using the said bandwidth. I'm a little nervous about closing anything down as it all looks like system stuff that's running, rather than "add on" applications.

Is there any way I can work around/solve this problem?

As always, your advice is appreciated.

    Thanks
