I've been mewching around the internet for some time now but i cant find1 thing i want desperatley,
I'm looking for a Creative EAX Audigy Inspire 5.1 Sound driver without having to register the programme or stuff like that in order to get hold of it.

If any one were able to get hold of it on the internet it would be highely appreciated!!

We could really use a more accurate model number for the Creative sound card. They have many different Audigy cards (about 30) and many of those have different models within the series (for example; there's an Audigy 2 ZS and within the Audigy 2 ZS series there may be several other models like a Platinum, or a Value, or a Value Live). So, if you can run a system info tool like Everest or PCwizard or HWinfo32, they should provide the actual model number. Or, you can open the case (unplug the power cord first) and look at the sound card; the model number will look like SB0350 or something similar (essentially, it's SBxxxx where x is any number from 0-9). Post the part number and we'll do our best. Another thing, it's fairly uncommon, but I've seen a few Creative cards that had a power connector and they wouldn't work unless they had been connected to the PC power supply via an adapter that shipped with the card. If you have one of these cards, it could be that it's not plugged into the power.

Good luck, and keep us posted!

(. . . and it appears that "Inspire" is actually the name of a line of speakers marketed by Creative and does not have anything to do with the actual sound card or the drivers just like "EAX" is just a set of audio extensions and is a feature built into the sound card and is not part of the model name or model number. . . )
