okay, so i ran all those scanning things in the tutorial, and i had like 20 viruses/trogens etc. i'm not posting my logs cuz that would be kinda pointless cuz i deleted all the viruses exept for C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9e.ocx


how do i delete this????


i tried running my comp in safe mode and it still won't delete. i tried deleting it with "moveonboot" (worked for deleting quite a few dll files) and it still WILL NOT DELETE

any help? thanks

oh when i try to delete it, it says make sure its not currently in use or write protected. i think it is only kaspersky that detected this too

You don't need to delete it. It is part of Flash Player 9.

ummm do I need to do anything with it then??? is it even dangerous or anything? should I just leave it there or something?

If you wish to have Flash Player work then leave it alone. It is not malware. It is a program from Adobe to play flash video's in your browser.

False positives happen in all software. You may need to update Kaspersky and perhaps it will correct the false detection. You should also update Flash Player too since that is an old version you are running. If you need help with updating, please post in the Software Forum.
