Try Newegg.com or your local Best Buy store. Make sure you have an open pci slot and you buy a card meant for that type of slot. Go with a 10/100/1000 card if you want the fastest transfers between PC's. If your just going to use it for the net, 10/100 is good enough.

![]() What are you asking about? Google tells me the D865PERL Intel mobo has a built in NIC. If the onboard is not working, or you want more than one, just look for a PCI NIC like Appz said. Or do you need the driver for your NIC? E

I looked too, and there was one, the D865PERL that had no Ethernet then 3 others like D865PERLX and D865PERLE D865PERLN or something like that that did have networking. So its possible his board has none.
Of course just incase he does and doesn't know it, If you look in the back, your looking for the same type of connection a phone or 56k modem uses, only its wider, about a half in wide instead of 3/8" like a phone. |
