I was wondering if this the new ATI 4870x2 is compatible with my evga 680sli mobo? not sure since this is a single card w/ dual GPU (dont know if it is similar to crossfire and therefore not compatible?)

Anyone tried one of these GPUs on this mobo? Asking since seems to be a few driver issues and adding a nvidia board on top of that I get chills

    thx for advice

EDIT: I think this board doesnt support PCIe 2.0, but the cards are supposed to be backwards compatible and I can live with that until I get a board once the new Intel chips/sockets come out.
