Well I'm starting to get into the market for a couple of new drives to back stuff up.
I'm not sure where to begin in terms of brand names or what to look for.
I was told to go with SATA II and that terabyte drives now are fairly good.
I read some review sites, but I'm always leary about them since they also have advertisements and what not - $$$.

    Any suggestions?

Also, would I be better off using these back-ups in a NAS setup or replace my smaller drives inside my PC right now with them?

    Or maybe a DROBO setup?
    Where do I begin? lol

    Thanks

    Buy 2 X 500GB Western Digital... ;)

I have this combination too, and it works excellent.
