found new hardware safely remove my HD and rom drive?

well thats it really...i have the safely remove iron on my bar...when i open it my hard drive and dvd rom are listed?...any ideas i have a segagate 250gig sta 2 drive that has no drivers ...i also have an annoying mtp issue that popped every 5 seconds til i disabled it in manger..any information would be helpful thanks again

 

I wouldn't worry about the 'safely remove hardware' thing. Some motherboards list SATA devices in that category and it's fairly common and normal. The motherboard I used before my upgrade showed my 250gb SATA drive in the 'safely remove hardware' list. My new motherboard doesn't. However, I have no idea what an "MTP issue" is. So, maybe if you started a new thread, and described exactly what it is, we can help with it...
